Questions & answers
- What does it cost?
- Plans start at $10/month for 800 messages, and you can switch anytime. Prefer no plan? Pay as you go, with no monthly fee.
- Can I use it without a monthly plan?
- Yes. Pay-as-you-go has no monthly fee: you add credit and pay 1¢ per message. A number is $3/month (no free number on pay-as-you-go). Want a lower price per message? Pick a monthly plan any time from the billing page.
- What happens if I use up my plan?
- You’re never cut off! Each message beyond your plan costs 1.2¢, and you can set your own spending limit so there are no surprises.
- Do unused messages carry over to next month?
- No. Your plan’s messages are for that month — whatever you don’t use expires, and you get a fresh allowance when the new month starts.
- Am I locked into a contract?
- No! Plans are monthly and you can switch anytime right from the billing page — and pay-as-you-go has no monthly fee at all.
- How do I keep control of spending?
- Set your own monthly spending limit and the system stops before you pass it. You can also turn on automatic top-up so important messages never wait.
