Our SMS Group Messaging Service (the “Service”) lets a group of people share one text-message conversation through a dedicated phone number. When any member texts the group’s number, the message is relayed by SMS to the other members of that group. Groups are created and managed by their organizers at https://sms.teltech.info.
The only messages we send to a member are (a) the conversational messages other members of their own group send to that group, (b) service messages about their membership — the one-time invitation, the welcome confirmation, replies to keywords they text us, and the single confirmation sent when they LEAVE or STOP — and (c) for people who separately and explicitly opt in on our website, TelTech News & Updates: occasional news and service notifications about TelTech’s own services. Apart from that optional news list, we do not send marketing, advertising, or promotional messages through the Service, and we never message a number that has not opted in. Joining the news list is never a condition of using the Service, and texting STOP ends it at any time. Full detail is on our opt-in page.
Message frequency varies depending on how active your group is. Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Consent to receive group messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Text STOP to any of our numbers at any time to stop all messages from that number and be added to our do-not-contact list. Text LEAVE to leave just that one group and stay in your others. Text HELP for help, or contact our support desk at cs@teltech.info or tickets.teltech.info.
You only receive messages after you opt in — by texting JOIN (or a group’s join keyword) to a group number, or by replying YES to a one-time invitation sent when a group member asks to add you. Details are on our opt-in page.
The Service is for person-to-person group conversation. You agree not to use it to send:
We may suspend or remove groups or members that violate these rules, and we may cooperate with carriers and authorities regarding abuse.
Texting STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to one of our numbers stops all messages from that number — every group on it — and adds you to our do-not-contact list, so we will not message you again from it. You will receive one final confirmation message and nothing after that.
Texting LEAVE removes you from just that one group and leaves your other groups on that number untouched. MUTE pauses a group's messages without leaving it.
To rejoin later, text JOIN or START to the same number, or reply YES to a fresh invitation.
SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and is not guaranteed; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Do not use the Service for emergency communications. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party.
We may update these terms; the current version is always at sms.teltech.info/legal/sms-terms.html. Questions: cs@teltech.info, or open a ticket at tickets.teltech.info. Postal: TelTech Advanced Phone Systems Corp, Brooklyn, NY 11219, USA.
