SMS Group Messaging Service — Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

To run the group messaging service at sms.teltech.info we collect and store:

Your mobile phone number — needed to deliver group messages to you and to record your opt-in and opt-out choices.
Your name or display name — shown to other members of your group so they know who sent each message.
The messages you send to a group — stored so they can be relayed to the group’s members and shown in the group’s history.
Opt-in and opt-out records — when and how you joined or left a group (JOIN/YES/LEAVE/STOP/START), kept as required for messaging compliance.
Basic technical logs — delivery status and timestamps, used to operate and troubleshoot the service.

2. How we use it

To deliver group messages between members who have opted in.
To honor LEAVE, STOP, START, and HELP requests — STOP stops every message from that number and adds you to our do-not-contact list; LEAVE removes you from one group only. See the Terms of Service and the opt-in page.
To operate, secure, and support the service, and to prevent abuse.
To comply with legal and carrier (10DLC) requirements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your messages or phone number for third-party advertising.

3. SMS consent is never shared

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Your phone number and your opt-in status are used only to operate this service. Messages are transmitted through our messaging carrier solely to deliver them — carriers act as service providers, not as recipients of your data for their own use.

4. Who can see what

Members of a group can see the display names and messages of other members of that same group.
Group organizers can see the membership list of their own groups.
Nobody outside your groups can see your messages.

5. Retention and deletion

Message history is kept while your group is active. Opt-out records are retained so we never message you again after a STOP. You can ask us to delete your account data by contacting cs@teltech.info; we will delete it except where retention is required by law or by carrier compliance rules.

6. Security

Data is stored on access-controlled servers and transmitted to our systems over encrypted connections. Standard SMS itself is not end-to-end encrypted — do not send sensitive information such as passwords or payment card numbers by text.

7. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes and contact
